About

Ábrego is a temperate, humid wind that often reaches storm strength. In spring and autumn, the wind sweeps towards the southwest coast of Andalusia from the Atlantic Ocean, where it forms in the area between the Canary Islands and the Azores.

The original language for all texts published on this blog is Swedish, which is the blogger’s mother tongue. When the text is available in Swedish, it is translated manually into English, which is the blogger’s second language. Texts in other languages are produced by transcribing the English text using Microsoft Translator, which the blogger thinks does a pretty good job being gratis. Sure, it can get very wrong sometimes, but you just have to accept that. If there is time, the blogger does a review of text using his overall language skills:

  • Swedish, native language, C2.
  • English, advanced, C1.
  • Spanish, effective operational, B2+.
  • German, elementary, A2.
  • French, absolute beginner.
  • Portuguese, absolute beginner.
